After attending a couple board meetings, I started seeing a theme around transparency and community involvement being a main objective of the board. Sometime in January I started studying the Illinois Open Meetings Act and how it applied. After learning about the details of what the law requires and missing being able to attend the sub-committee meetings rescheduled to early February, I paid closer attention to the requirements for meeting posting for the main 2\/20 meeting.
